And the fog rolled in!!!

2025 Results

As far as I know this was our first trip to Bowral. Like to know what you thought of the course? Congratulations on some very good scores.

Seems we are going through a dark patch at the moment with many not being able to play in Round 1 of the Championships today. Congratulations to Frank on a good win.

Seems Juan has maintained his good form in the Country Cup!!!!

A believe this is the first win for Juan since going the club, well done!!!!!

Congratulations Kevin on another good win.

Round 1 of the ambrose championship results. Martin and John leading the way.

Looks like Kevin has recovered from his injury, well done. Great to see the return of Peter Brennan, Frank Lee, Craig Lovat and Jason Toogood. Scores indicate it was pretty tough going today.

Just 12 brave souls at Fox Hills today as a result of the cart ban and persistent rain. Great to see Craig and Jason out for a game. Lots of unknowns on the start sheet for Woodville, let me know if you intend to play or not and whether you need a cart.

We battled on through the rain and came up with a result on the day.

For various reasons we only had 13 players today. Some late withdrawals so a rearrangement of the draw, but most seemed to enjoy their game. Novelty events give you the opportunity to play with someone you may never have played with before: can only be a good thing for a social golf club.
Congratulations to Steve and John on their close win.
Also welcome to Marco and William who have now been given their handicaps.

Our first game at Windsor saw Rob Goodall cleaning up the field. Well played!!!!!

Some very good scores after a pleasant day had by all at the revamped Hurstville Course, our President, Kevin couldn’t stop smiling. Well done on your win!

Terrific turn out for our last game of 2024. Great to see all the old-timers and refreshing to see four new prospective members joining us today. Father and son team came out on top! Well done Pierre and Mark.
Wishing al of our members a wonderful Christmas and an extremely prosperous new year. Keep well and we will see you all in the new year.

Our first game at Wallacia. Heard positive comments about the course.

Big win for one of our newer members today, Brendan Seagrove. Probably not the best idea to knock the handicapper off with his 50 points.

Three 80s off the stick today, well played fellas.

Some very good scores in today but Viet is on a winning streak!! Kevin Pearce broke 80 and John Soo had only 26 putts.

He’s won again!!! Well done Viet.

Where my ball found itself today! Up a drain pipe.

Congratulations to Vai on a fine win. Also worth noting is Mr T’s 78 off the stick.

Today’s winners and their mate.

As a result the winners of the Ambrose Club Championships are Mark Dimond and Kevin Pearce, congratulations to you both.

Not the best day for golf today with many dropping out due to the heavy rain. Eleven starters braved the conditions with Jim Gardner being the best to cope. Won the day and the Country Cup.

A chilly start to the day but Ed seems to have warmed up quicker than the others, congratulations on the fine win.

Ian Ramsay, the happy winner on countback on a perfect day for golf at Antill Park.

Who was that masked man at Stonecutters Ridge??????

Well done Rob on your win today!

Our happy winner after playing a blinder today, congratulations Pete Stanley!!!

Who is this masked man? Congratulations Tony on your win today.

Today’s happy winner, Pierre Kari receiving his prize and Kevin Pearce who knocked off the eagle’s nest today.

2023

Congratulations to Cooper McMahon who took out the days event and the Gold Medal at Oak Point today.

Stunning round from Bill and Colin today, congratulations. They also managed to snatch the 2-ball ambrose championship from Cooper and Parish McMahon.

Who says A graders never win?????

First outing at North Ryde proved difficult for some and game time was over the top. Congratulations to Steve Hill on his impressive 42 points for the win.

Great round today Freddie!!! Congratulations on your win.

Here’s one from out of the blue, our President has come good today, congratulations on a great score!!

Our happy 2-ball aggregate championship winner. Send me a photo Stuart and I will add it to the web site.

Note: Parrish and Cooper were awarded the win as Parrish had played a game in the last five. The by-laws do not cover team events where one of the team has not played a game in the last five.
Today’s stableford event was played in wet conditions that seemed to suit the former Kiwi, Bill Leslie. Congratulations to Steve Hill on his win in the matchplay final.

Tony is on a roll, consecutive wins!

Very competitive today with some close scoring, but Vai has done it again.

Wonderful to see our club stalwart Hugh Davey. He was present to congratulate the winner and runner-up of the Hugh Davey Summer Cup. Congratulations to two of our newer members.
These results have been checked by Mark as it seems some members didn’t know that when there are multiple indexes shown on a card you must use the index of the tees you play from. We played the blue tees yesterday and therefore the blue index should have been applied. Please remember for next time.

No wonder he is smiling with a fantastic 46 at Studley Park today.

Cabramatta Results Sheet: Looks like they have been practising over the Christmas break, some very good scores at Cabramatta.

Happy winners and runners-up of the Christmas ambrose

Getting into the Christmas spirit

Results 2022

A foggy start but it turned out fine for some

Congratulations to Cooper and Parrish McMahon as they had a clean sweep of the Country Cup.
Well done Mr T and Parrish on their wins in the matchplay.

Small turn out but a good one for Steve Hill. Great to see Parrish McMahon returning and playing well.
