Child safe policy as at March 2023

The Bankstown Sports Men’s Social Golf Club accepts junior members from the age of 12 years. To date all junior members have been the sons of current members. 

It is the policy of the club that the father of the junior member is responsible for his child’s care and safety. It is the Club’s policy to ensure that a junior member plays in the same group as his father. 

Due to the nature of the game and recreational activities following, the junior member is required to be always in proximity of his father.

The President of the Club is appointed as the Child Safety Officer or if absent a member of the Committee adopts this role.
